Hey Friends! These are my top 5 time saving kitchen gadgets that I use every week. These all just make our busy, hectic lives a little easier. Hopefully you already have some of these and love them too!

  1. Brookstone Automatic Wine Bottle Opener

First off, are you still using rabbit ears to pry open your wine bottles? I hope not! I got this wine opener 5 years ago as a wedding present from my friend. It is STILL going strong. It is battery powered and the bottom piece is both a stand and foil cutter. All you have to do is place this on top of the cork, hold the down button and wait for it to remove the cork! It’s really awesome. I’ve gotten this as a gift for many people in the last 5 years because we use it so often. You never have to man handle a wine bottle again!

PROS- Easy cork removal with the push of a button, foil cutter in the bottom stand.

CONS- I can’t think of anything!

This is the Brookstone brand that I got.  It is $38 on Amazon. I can say it has been worth every penny (Or my friend’s every penny).  I know Amazon has tons of other wine openers, just make sure to review them and see if they have a cord or not. I don’t think I’d like having to charge mine or have it plugged in.

    2.  Instant Pot

I actually don’t have this brand, I have the Crock-Pot version. Its the same thing but the Instant Pot is like the OG of electric pressure cookers. It combines 7 kitchen appliances into one! Works as a Pressure Cooker, Slow Cooker, Rice Cooker, Steamer, Sauté, Yogurt Marker and Warmer. It really does almost everything!

The best part about it? It is FAST! I just made a southwestern chicken and rice dish that is amazingly flavorful with chicken that shreds like butter. It took me 5 minutes to prepare and then cooked for 25 minutes. It’s the easiest thing! Would you like that recipe? I’ll save it for later!

All you need to do is google Instant Pot recipes and you will find a million results! My favorite place to go look is Pinterest! <-Click there for recipes!

PROS- It has many different functions and can replace your crockpot, rice cooker and old pressure cooker. Super fast! Makes meat delicious and tender.

CONS- It’s the size of a crockpot but a little taller and more narrow, so you’d need to have the space for it.

The Instant Pot does come in a few sizes. The 6 quart is what I have and is a perfect size. It is $99. This is for sure worth every penny. Go check out the reviews on Amazon and you’ll see what I mean. It has a cult following for a reason!

    3.  Keurig Mini Single Serve

You all probably have a Keurig already, but I had to mention it because we drink A LOT of coffee in this house. I love the new single serve slim lined Keurig’s. I actually like how they hold less water because I always thought it was gross to have water sitting in the reservoir and inside of the machine. This makes more sense to add water with each use. They come in a couple different colors too!

PROS- Cute and compact, You won’t have gross water left over in the reservoir, comes in different colors.

CONS- You can only brew one cup at a time, K-cups can be expensive.

This Keurig is $92 on Amazon. It would make a great gift too! Isn’t it cute?

My little money saving tip for the Keurig is to buy the Reusable K cups and fill them with a scoop of ground coffee. The K cups can be a little pricey. You can buy them here- 4 for $9.95

I’m sure most of you have at least one of these. Let me know your favorite, must-have items that make your life a little bit easier.

4. Onion Chopper

It is advertised a an onion chopper, but it chops everything! It comes with 2 different sizes so you can choose what you need for your recipe. I love using it for cowboy caviar and salsa. It also makes cutting onions, garlic and peppers up for sautéing very easy.

PROS- chops 2 different sizes and you can do a lot of chopping quickly.

CONS- You need to use some force when pushing it down and cleaning the blades is a pain in the butt.

This Vegetable Chopper is $23.99. We’ve had ours for about 4 years and it is still going strong!

5. Air Fryer

My mom just got me one for Christmas! To be honest, I wasn’t sure how much I’d use it because I don’t tend to like fried food. I was totally surprised that It cooks chicken SO well! It uses hot air to “fry” so you just get a crispy skin with a tender meat inside. I find myself using it multiple times during the week because its very easy and the chicken tastes great!

PROS- Tender meat, makes great French fries, can cook a whole chicken at once, tons of recipes on Pinterest, Quick.

CONS- It’s pretty big, so you would want to have counter space for it or under cabinet space.

This is an “Amazon Choice” Air Fryer. I have another brand but there are so many brands out there! They all do about the same thing so don’t be afraid to get any brand with good reviews. You set the temperature and the time to cook. It has a function that allows you to take out the basket and shake or flip your meat without resetting your time. It’s pretty cool!

Thank you for reading!! Which one of these do you have and which one have you been wanting to try?
